Meet C. K. Bushnell

C. K. grew up on the east coast exploring the woods around her home and her grandparents’ farm, uncovering ancient cellars hidden beneath the forest leaves, digging for buried treasure of old bottles from a time gone by, and searching for tadpoles and turtles in the swamp.

Now on the west coast, C. K. continues to explore, not only the forests and mountains, but the mysterious mining towns of the Old West, and the Victorian houses hidden in plain sight on the busy city streets.

Most of all, C. K. continues to imagine characters in places both familiar and unfamiliar, in situations that require personal strength, sometimes quiet, sometimes boldly heroic, but always on a journey to a better place.
